Andrea Lawrence Wood’s exceptional achievements in the world of interior design are recognized internationally. Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail and broad knowledge of design periods and styles have brought her industry acclaim and broad media exposure in numerous fine design publications.
Wood’s firm, Interior Design Development, based in Denver, Co., is known for her work with exclusive resort residential and hospitality properties coast-to-coast. Hospitality projects include luxury hotels, condominiums, restaurants, spas, resorts and clubhouses.
Wood takes pride in personally managing every project Interior Design Development accepts and in her role, she coordinates traditionally competitive disciplines. “Our commitment is to always integrate the owner, developer, contractor, designer and architect into a cohesive design team,” Wood says. That philosophy has set a benchmark in the industry.
Andrea Lawrence Wood holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute in Denver, Co. Among her many leadership roles, she was chairman of the Design Council for the Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics for the Denver Art Museum. She has been named to the Denver Business Journal’s 50 Top Women-Owned Businesses for more than a decade. She serves on the Design Advisory Board for Benjamin Moore and on the Academic Advisory Board for the Colorado Art Institute.
